Cobra UNISOLV is a hydrocarbon solvent designed to have a good balance of solvency and evaporation rate. It is primarily an aliphatic solvent, meaning that it contains a mix of paraffinic and naphthenic material along with some isomers and unsaturated olefins. It is a 3139 type solvent, with a boiling point range from about 310°F to 390°F (154°C to 199°C). Cobra UNISOLV shows excellent solvency for all types of hydrocarbons, from heavy oils, greases and waxes to oil-based paints and inks. Cobra UNISOLV can be used for general cleaning, de-greasing and ink preparation. It is ideal for thinning oil-based (alkyd) paints, as well as cleaning & softening brushes and rollers. It can be used to remove grease, oil, wax and tar from floors, and for cleaning engine parts, car bodies, fabrics and plastics, and many other uses. Cobra UNISOLV should be treated with the same care as all chemicals. Avoid inhaling the vapours. Like all such solvents, Cobra UNISOLV can remove natural skin oil and fats, so avoid direct skin contact by using barrier creams or chemical-resistant gloves.
